Q. What is Mall-Fi?
A. Mall-Fi is the commercial classified advertising section of
Head-Fi. This is a place where sponsors and non-sponsors alike can
advertise their wares to the Head-Fi public.
Q. How do I post in Mall-Fi?
A. Mall-Fi is a pay-to-post forum. The rates are as follows:
Sponsor: $0.20 per word (one word equals five characters --
spaces are not counted). Minimum price per ad is $20.00. Ad term is 30
days.
Non-sponsor:
$0.25 per word (one word equals five characters -- spaces are not
counted). Minimum price per ad is $25.00. Ad term is 30 days.
Non-sponsor (Head-Fi
member with at least 500 posts *AND* registered with Head-Fi for a minimum
of six months): $0.20 per word (one word equals five characters
-- spaces are not counted). Minimum price per ad is $20.00. Ad term is 30
days.
For all three above options, the following rules apply to graphics within
the ad:
One graphic may be embedded in each ad post at no additional charge
(using “img” tags) -- maximum allowable size for the embedded image
is 240 pixels by 240 pixels. If you wish to have the image hosted by
Head-Fi, please e-mail the image to jude@head-fi.org.
Any ad image hosted by Head-Fi cannot exceed 240 pixels by 240 pixels,
and 30K in file size. Additional graphics can be added to a post for
$5.00 each, and each image must adhere to the above described maximum
dimension requirements (and file size requirements if hosted by Head-Fi).
Compose your post, keeping in mind the cost of the post based on the
above pricing that applies to you.
When you submit your post in Mall-Fi, it is placed in a queue, and so it
is not visible in the forum until the forum administrator approves it (and
after payment receipt is confirmed). Currently, PayPal is the only
acceptable form of payment, so include your PayPal e-mail address at the
very end of the post, and it will be removed before the ad is approved and
posted (unless it was your intent to leave that same e-mail address for
purpose of public contact).
Head-Fi reserves the right to deny the posting of any post or ad in Mall-Fi
at its sole discretion.
